Welcome to Portlethen Primary School

Portlethen Primary is a non-denominational school with a role of 287. The school serves Portlethen catchment area.  Portlethen School is an integral part of the community and enjoys the reciprocal support of the local community.

Portlethen School is a nurturing school that has achieved Level 2 of the Rights Respecting School Award and the Fair Achievers Award, and the school was designated an Enhanced Provision school in August 2017.  The school has also achieved the Digital Schools Award for promoting digital skills in the classroom.

Pupils and staff celebrate the school values of Trust, Teamwork, Respect, Achievement, Inclusion and Nurture. These are described as: T-TRAIN.

The Parent Partnership (known as Portlethen Primary Together) contribute greatly to achieving the school improvement priorities and raise much appreciated funds for the luxuries enjoyed by the pupils.
